Hyderabad traffic cops revive collapsed pedestrian with CPR near Begumpet
Hyderabad: Two traffic police officers in Hyderabad, Anandam and Mohd Abdul Hussain, saved the life of a man who collapsed while crossing the P&T Junction near Begumpet on Sunday afternoon, March 16, 2025.
According to the reports, the man, identified as Suresh from Adilabad, suddenly fell unconscious while crossing the road. The officers, stationed at the junction to manage traffic, quickly responded by administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Their prompt actions revived Suresh before he was transferred to the Gandhi Hospital for further treatment. Suresh is currently recovering in the hospital.
The incident has gained widespread attention on social media, with videos of the rescue going viral and receiving praise from the public. The community has expressed their gratitude, with many citizens thanking the officers for their quick thinking and lifesaving actions.
In a statement on social media, Hyderabad Traffic Police said, “#HYDTPweCareForU @shotr_begumpet, staff PC Anandam & ARPC Mohd Abdul Hussain #SavedLife by providing #CPR to Mr. Suresh who suddenly had seizures and became unconscious near PNT junction. He was then shifted to #GandhiHospital with 108 and discharged in stable condition.”
