Hyderabad Traffic alert: Golconda Fort road closures for Independence Day 2025 celebrations
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory in view of the Independence Day 2025 celebrations at Rani Mahal Lawns, Golconda Fort, Hyderabad, on Friday.
The road from Ramdevguda to Golconda Fort will be closed for general vehicular traffic from 0600 hrs to 1200 hrs. The following traffic restrictions will be enforced.
Traffic diversions
Golf Club Lane: The traffic coming from 7 Tombs towards Golconda Fort will be diverted towards Jamali Darwaza.
Golconda Bus Stop: The traffic coming from GHMC Ground and GHMC Island will be diverted towards Mothi Mahal x Road.
Tawakal Store, Bada Bazar: The traffic coming from Bada Bazar towards Golconda Fort will be diverted towards GHMC Island.
Ibrahim Medical Hall: The local traffic coming from Chota Bazar towards Golconda Fort will be diverted towards Mothi Darwaza.
Ramdevguda "T' Jn: The traffic coming from Narsingi and Tippu Khan Bridge towards Golconda Fort will be diverted at Ramdevguda Jn.
Parking places
Bala Hissar to Bada Bazar mosque: VIPs, Ministers and MLAs' vehicles.
Golconda Bus Stop Parking Place: Senior Government Officials
Foot Ball/Boys Ground Opp. Golconda L&O PS: Govt. Non Govt. dignitaries
GHMC/Owaisi Ground Parking: Police and government officials.
Area Hospital, Golconda: Awardees and Press Media holders.
7 Tombs, Deccan Park and Huda Park Inside Parking: General Public and Visitors
At Secunderabad Parade Grounds
Traffic will be diverted at Tivoli Junction towards Brooke Bond and N.C.C. Junction, and traffic coming from Tivoli towards Plaza will be restricted from 06:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Appeal: Residents of the Golconda surrounding areas are requested not to park any vehicles on the main roads leading to Golconda Fort and to follow the signages to reach Golconda Fort.
