Traffic restrictions announced for President’s visit to Hyderabad on Nov 21-22, 2024

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police have issued a traffic advisory in view of the Hon'ble President of India, Draupadi Murmu's visit to the city on November 21 and 22, 2024. Due to the movement of VVIPs/VIPs, traffic will be temporarily halted or diverted at several locations.

On November 21, between 5:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., traffic will be either stopped for a while or diverted at several key junctions, including Panjagutta Junction, Green Lands Junction, Begumpet Flyover, HPS Out Gate, Shyam Lal Building, PPNT Flyover, Airport Y Junction, Monappa Junction, Yashoda Hospital, Katriya Hotel, Raj Bhavan Road, Metro Residency, VV Statue, Khairatabad Flyover, Necklace Rotary, NTR Marg, Telugu Thalli Junction, Telugu Thalli Flyover, Katta Maisamma, Iqbal Minar, Old Ambedkar Statue Junction, Tankbund, NTR Stadium, and Ashok Nagar Junction.

On November 22, between 9:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., similar traffic restrictions will be in place at locations such as Raj Bhavan, Metro Junction, VV Statue, KCP Ansari Manzil, Taj Krishna, 1/7 Road, 1/4 Road, NFCL, SNT, Sagar Society, NTR Bhavan, Jubilee Hills Check Post, Road No. 45 Junction, Cable Bridge, Road No. 65, and Jubilee Check Post, among others.

In addition, the traffic will be affected around Panjagutta Flyover, Monappa Junction, Praja Bhavan, Green Land, Begumpet Flyover, and Airport Y Junction.

Citizens are advised to take note of these diversions and plan their travel accordingly during the designated times. For any queries or travel assistance, the Hyderabad Traffic Police helpline (9010203626) will be available.
