Hyderabad: A 23-year-old student from Hyderabad lost his life in a Dallas shooting during an armed robbery early Tuesday, leaving his family and community in shock, according to initial reports.
Chandrasekhar Pole, from LB Nagar, completed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India before moving to the United States for a Master of Science in Health Data Analytics at the University of North Texas. The university's Spring 2025 semester began in May 2025.

Former minister and BRS senior leader T Harish Rao and local MLA Sudhir Reddy visited Pole's family residence in LB Nagar following news of his death. The leaders spent time with the family members and expressed condolences.
