Hyderabad student killed in gun misfire in US, body to arrive tonight
Hyderabad: A birthday celebration turned tragic for a Hyderabad family after their 23-year-old son, Aryan Reddy, died in an accidental gun-related incident in Atlanta, Georgia.
Aryan Reddy was a second year MS student at Kansas State University, Atlanta. He celebrated his birthday with his friends on November 13. On the same day, he took out his newly bought hunting gun to clean it but it accidentally fired a bullet which pierced his chest, leaving him fatally wounded.
Upon hearing the sound of the gunshot, his friends rushed to his room and found him in a pool of blood. They immediately tried to shift him to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The deceased's father, Palvai Sudarshan Reddy originally from Peddarao Palli village in Bhuvanagiri district and currently residing in Dharmapuri Colony, Uppal, is devastated by the sudden death of his only son. Aryan's body is expected to arrive in Hyderabad tonight.
