A large quantity of steroids was seized from their possession. Among the items recovered were various types of Growth Hormone Peptides, including R6 Pure Growth Hormone, Igro Pure Growth Hormone, and Tropin Growth Hormone. Other substances seized included Testobolin, Myodrol capsules, and several types of injectable steroids, totaling an estimated value of Rs 1,80,000.

Imran Khan, a former gym trainer, had begun selling these steroids to individuals seeking quick muscle growth. Operating without a valid license or doctor’s prescription, he was selling the substances at inflated prices. Acting on a tip-off, the authorities apprehended Imran Khan near Soma Tailor on NMDC Road, Mehdipatnam, and later recovered more steroids from Sanjeev's store. Sanjeev subsequently led the police to Mohd Nazeer, who was found with a large stock of steroids.

Steroids are in high demand, particularly among youth eager to achieve rapid muscle development. However, misuse of these substances can result in serious health problems, including addiction and long-term health complications.

A case has been registered under Cr. No: 103/2025 U/s 318(4), 278 BNS at Humayun Nagar Police Station against the accused.

The arrests were made under the supervision of Inspector S. Bala Swamy, Task Force South West Zone, and SI R. Sharath Chandra, along with the Humayun Nagar Police.
