The IMD has also warned of thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (40-50 kmph) at isolated places across several districts of Telangana. These include Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, and Jangaon.

Rainy Conditions Likely to Persist in Telangana

Telangana Weatherman predicted that the region will experience a "mini rainy season" over the next week. He mentioned that Hyderabad received widespread rainfall of 5-11mm from the evening of December 1 to midnight, with on-and-off rains across the southern and eastern parts of the state.

He added that rainfall will continue to affect central Telangana, as well as southern and eastern districts, with intermittent rain expected in Hyderabad from the afternoon to midnight. This rainy spell is expected to last until December 9, bringing cool and humid conditions to the region.

Advisory for Farmers

In response to the unseasonal rains, Telangana Weatherman advised farmers to store their grains indoors and avoid harvesting until December 9, due to the risk of moderate rainfall. He also suggested that residents carry umbrellas or raincoats instead of sweaters and jackets, as the recent cold spell has passed.

The weather conditions are expected to affect the region over the coming week, and residents are advised to stay prepared.
