Hyderabad shocker: Mother jumps to death after killing children in a gruesome manner

Hyderabad: In a horrific incident, a mother killed her two children in the most brutal manner before taking her own life at Gajularamaram under the Jeedimetla police station limits.

The woman identified as Teja (35) allegedly killed her two sons, Harshith Reddy (11) and Ashish Reddy (9) with a sickle at her residence and later jumped to her death from the sixth floor of an apartment building within Balaji Layout.

After receiving a call from locals, the police arrived at the scene and found the bodies of the children lying on the floor and blood splattered all over the room. They shifted the bodies to the morgue of a government hospital for postmortem examination.

According to available information, the police found a six-page note left by the woman, which revealed that she was under mental stress. The deceased woman was also disturbed because her kids were also unwell.

In another incident, a 75-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by a migrant worker, the police said. The tragic incident occurred in Kushaiguda on April 11, 2025. However, it came to light after the teenage worker shared the video with a relative of the victim.

The police said the accused person worked at one of the shops owned by the deceased woman. He reportedly struck the woman with an iron rod and manipulated the crime scene to make it appear as if she ended her life by hanging herself from the ceiling fan. He tied a saree around her neck and left it hanging from the ceiling fan and left the place after locking the door.
