IND vs BAN T20I: Hyderabad Metro to operate till 1 am today
In view of the India vs Bangladesh T20 match at Uppal Stadium, the Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) has decided to extend its operational hours on Saturday.
To facilitate the cricket enthusiasts returning home safely, the HMRL will run additional trains past midnight. Those who are attending the T20 match at Uppal Stadium can board the last metro train by 1 am. The late night metro train services will reach their destinations by 2 am.
The third and final T20I between India and visitors Bangladesh team is being played at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. The first and second T20Is were held on October 6 and 9 respectively.
Meanwhile, the Rachakonda Police have issued a traffic advisory for commuters in view of the 3rd T20 International cricket match in the city. To ensure a smooth flow of traffic and to prevent any inconvenience to the public, traffic diversions will be in effect within the Uppal Traffic Police jurisdiction from 4:00 p.m. to 11:50 p.m. on the day of the match.
The diversions primarily affect heavy vehicles, including lorries, dumpers, earth movers, water tankers, RMC trucks, and all other types of trucks.
Diversion Routes:
From Chengicherla, Boduppal, Peerzadiguda towards Uppal:
Diversion Point: Opposite Toyota Showroom – HMDA Bhaghyath Road.
Suggested Route: HMDA Bhaghyath Layout – Nagole.
From LB Nagar to Nagole, Uppal:
Diversion Point: Under Nagole Metro Station U-turn.
Suggested Route: Nagole Metro Station – HMDA Layout – Boduppal – Chengicherla X Road.
From Tarnaka towards Uppal:
Diversion Point: Habsiguda X Road.
Suggested Route: Towards Nacharam – IOCL, Cherlapally.
From Ramanthapur to Uppal:
Diversion Point: Street No. 8.
Suggested Route: Street No. 8, Habsiguda Metro Pillar No. 972 U-Turn – Uppal X Road.
All citizens are requested to take note of the mentioned routes, dates, and timings. Commuters are encouraged to plan their movements accordingly and cooperate with the Rachakonda Traffic Police to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
