New Twist in Hyderabad Mehndi Artist Pinky's Tragic Death Case

Hyderabad: A 37-year-old woman, known for her expertise as a mehndi artist, tragically ended her life at her residence in Huda Colony, Attapur, Hyderabad. early on Saturday (March 29). The deceased, identified as Pinky, was set to have a traditional wedding ceremony in April with her husband, Amit Lohia, whom she had legally married a year ago after divorcing her first husband.

According to police reports, financial distress appears to have played a significant role in Pinky’s suicide. Investigations reveal that Pinky had entrusted her earnings—approximately ₹7 lakh—to Amit, who invested the amount in the stock market. His initial investment yielded a substantial profit of ₹20 lakh, which he reinvested. However, the second round of investments resulted in a complete financial loss.

The financial setback reportedly led to frequent arguments between the couple. The situation worsened, and in a state of extreme distress, Pinky made a final phone call to Amit before taking her own life.

The police have taken Amit into custody as part of their ongoing investigation, and further details are expected to emerge soon.
