Ministers inspect flood-hit areas in Jubilee Hills, order nala upgrade
Hyderabad: Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Vivek Venkatswamy, along with Hyderabad police commissioner AV Ranganath and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) commissioner RV Karnan, inspected flood-affected areas in Krishnanagar, Jubilee Hills, on Tuesday.
During the visit, officials identified a “bottleneck nala problem” as the primary cause of flooding in the locality. They directed the Strategic Nala Development Programme (SNDP) authorities to upgrade and widen storm water drains to prevent further inundation.
The ministers also reviewed pending GHMC works and instructed officials to expedite drainage and sanitation measures in the affected colonies.
