The victim had shared his resume with friends while searching for job opportunities. One of them informed him about a possible opening through an unknown contact, whose number (62817 31463) had been forwarded by someone else. The friend shared the number with the victim and also sent his resume to the contact via WhatsApp.

The victim then contacted the individual, who claimed to be the "Admin Director" at a company named Intel Lie Company. The person said there was a job opening with an annual salary package of ₹25 to ₹30 lakh. He told the victim that his current salary details did not match the job’s requirements and advised him to revise his previous year’s Income Tax Return. He offered assistance through a Chartered Accountant and asked the victim to transfer ₹38,000 to account number 9992505061020601.

Later, the fraudster demanded ₹36,000 for further processing, this time to a different account number: 60529532154. The victim sent the money via Google Pay. A third payment of ₹37,000 was requested for a "Gold SIP," which was claimed to be a requirement for the high salary package. The victim complied and made the final payment.

After receiving all three payments, totaling ₹1,11,000, the fraudster stopped responding to calls and messages. His phone has been switched off since May 28, 2025.
