GHMC commissioner inspects Musi bridge near Moosarambagh

HYDERABAD: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) commissioner R V Karnan on Saturday inspected the new bridge under construction across the Musi river near Moosarambagh.

Engineering officials told the commissioner that the completed spans of the bridge had not suffered any damage. "So far, no harm has come to the bridge spans that have been completed," they said.

The officials added that the heavy flood flow had only washed away the centring arranged between the P1 and P2 pillars. "It is the temporary centring structure between P1 and P2 that got swept away, not the main bridge works," they clarified.
