Hyderabad floods disrupt MGBS bus services
HYDERABAD: Floodwaters from the Musi river have entered the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) premises, forcing the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) to suspend services from the terminal.
Buses scheduled to depart from MGBS are now being operated from different parts of Hyderabad.
Services to Adilabad, Karimnagar, Medak and Nizamabad are running from Jubilee Bus Station (JBS). Buses to Warangal and Hanamkonda are leaving from Uppal Crossroads. Services towards Suryapet, Nalgonda and Vijayawada are being operated from LB Nagar, while those to Mahbubnagar, Kurnool and Bengaluru are leaving from Aramghar.
TGSRTC has urged passengers not to come to MGBS until further notice. "We are diverting all services to other points in the city. Passengers are requested to board from the respective alternative locations," the corporation said.
For details, passengers can contact the TGSRTC call centre at 040-69440000 or 040-23450033.
