Hyderabad: A range of events is set to take place across India, with Hyderabad hosting several cultural, musical, and community activities in the coming days. From a nationwide virtual fitness marathon to local theatre performances, live concerts, heritage visits, and creative workshops, these events offer something for a wide audience. - Run for Fitness Virtual Marathon — Medal by Courier
Location: Anywhere in India
Dates: 1 June – 26 October 2025
Time: Flexible within a 10-hour window per day
The Run for Fitness virtual marathon allows participants to complete a running challenge on their own schedule and location. Distance categories include 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km. Participants may complete the run in a single session or split it across multiple days.
Tracking must be done using fitness apps such as Strava, Nike Run Club, Runkeeper, or GPS watches like Garmin or Fitbit. Upon submitting run data via WhatsApp, participants will receive a Mumbai-themed medal by courier.
- Statue of Equality – Cultural Visit in Hyderabad
Location: Venkannaguda, Hyderabad
Dates: 29 May – 30 June 2025
Time: 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM (weekends), 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM (weekdays)
Age Limit: 3 years and above
The Statue of Equality is dedicated to 11th-century social reformer Jagadguru Ramanujacharya. Visitors can explore the 216-foot statue, 108 Divyadesas (replicas of Vishnu temples), and the gold deity of Ramanujacharya. The site also features ritual services, a laser fountain show, a Satvik food court, prasadam distribution, wheelchair access, and audio-visual guides. Entry fees are ₹250 for adults, ₹150 for children aged 4–11, and free for children under 3.
- ‘Article 19 (1)(a)’ by Sifar – Theatre PerformanceLocation: Lamakaan, Hyderabad

Sifar presents two monologues exploring personal and political themes. The performance includes "Round & Round & Round," based on Nirmal Verma’s ‘Dedh Inch Upar’, and "HUNG(ed) OVER," an original abstract play in Hindi, English, and gibberish. The plays are part of the Constitutional Values Fellowship 2025 and are performed by Feroze Yakshi.
