Hyderabad-based Dhruva Space launches AstraView, new satellite imagery service

Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based Dhruva Space has launched AstraView, a commercial satellite imagery service that aims to provide continuous insights into Earth. The service, unveiled on December 2, 2024, is the result of strategic partnerships with industry leaders including Array Labs, Axelspace, Capella Space, Geosat, Maxar, Planet, Satellogic, SI Imaging Services, Unseenlabs, and Wyvern.

AstraView offers high-resolution, real-time satellite imagery and data, delivering comprehensive coverage and actionable insights to support critical operations across various sectors. The service provides a diverse range of satellite data, including Electro-Optical, Synthetic-Aperture Radar (SAR), Radio Frequency, and Hyper-Spectral imagery, catering to the needs of academia, defense, and enterprise users.

Through AstraView, Dhruva Space offers a flexible, ecosystem-based approach to satellite imagery, enabling near real-time tasking. Users can search and order archived imagery or request fresh satellite data collection, ensuring access to both historical and up-to-date geospatial information. The platform offers lower costs, simplified integration, and flexibility, giving users the ability to leverage satellite imagery without the complexities of owning or managing satellite infrastructure.
