Venkateshwarlu, a resident of Prashanth Hills Colony in Meerpet, had been living with his wife and two children. According to reports, he had been facing mounting pressure due to a downturn in the property market. Based on a complaint filed by his wife, police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.

In a separate incident, a 33-year-old man, Palamuru Praveen Goud, allegedly ended his life at his rented house in Shamshabad on May 21, 2025.

According to a complaint filed by his father, Palamuru Balraj Goud, Praveen had been living alone while working as a manager at Bajaj Finance in Shadnagar. The family had been exploring marriage proposals for him, but none had materialised, which may have caused him emotional distress.

After being unable to contact his son the previous night, Balraj Goud visited the residence the following morning and found him unresponsive. Police have registered a case under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) and are investigating. No foul play is suspected.
