Building India’s AI Supercomputing Infrastructure

The new facility in Hyderabad will be equipped with a 400 MW data center cluster, designed to support some of the most powerful AI supercomputing infrastructure in the country, including 25,000 GPUs. This initiative is aligned with Telangana's goal to position itself as India’s AI hub, providing scalable and sustainable computing power for both public and enterprise AI applications.

This collaboration will leverage NTT DATA’s expertise in global data centers and Neysa’s AI acceleration platform to develop AI-first solutions and foster innovation within the state.

Sustainable and Responsible AI Growth

The project will be powered by a mix of grid and renewable energy, with a total capacity of up to 500 MW. It will incorporate advanced cooling technologies such as liquid immersion and adhere to stringent Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards. The facility will also contribute to the development of AI talent in the region, through partnerships with local academic institutions and Telangana’s digital public infrastructure mission.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy welcomed the investment, highlighting that Telangana offers policy stability, strategic location advantages, reliable power, a skilled workforce, and quick clearances through its single-window system. He highlighted that this investment underscores Hyderabad’s growing position as India’s leading data center hub, following similar projects by AWS, STT, Tillman Holdings, and CtrlS.

“On behalf of all the people of Telangana – Arigatō Gozaimasu. Or, in my Telugu language, Dhanyavadalu,” CM Revanth Reddy said, expressing his gratitude to NTT DATA for the investment.
