LB Nagar, Ameerpet and Raidurg are the busiest stations in the metro network. Raidurg is the only station that caters to the employees working in the IT hub. Ameerpet metro station is extremely crowded throughout the day as it is an interchange station that connects the Red and Blue lines.

Recently, the disruption of metro services in Hyderabad due to a technical snag caused significant inconvenience to passengers. It disrupted metro services across multiple routes, including Nagole-Secunderabad and Miyapur-Ameerpet. The stranded commuters expressed frustration over lack of space on platforms.

The Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) is taking several measures to manage the continuous passenger movement which include 12 security personnel at each platform to control the passengers crowd. The HMRL is also attempting to create additional space on the platforms to make room for the passengers and give them a convenient experience.
