Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is set to organize a special free adoption drive for indie puppies, inviting animal lovers to provide these adorable canines with loving homes next Sunday.

The event, "Give Love a Home," will take place on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Jalagam Vengal Rao Park, Road No. 1, Banjara Hills.

Healthy, vaccinated, and ready for a home

The puppies up for adoption are healthy, vaccinated, and dewormed, ensuring they are in the best condition for their new families. Known for their playful, loyal, and low-maintenance nature, indie dogs make ideal companions for households.

Adoption Made Simple, no adoption fees – only love and care required, GHMC encourages citizens to "Be a Hero. Adopt, don't shop." The initiative aims to reduce stray populations while promoting responsible pet ownership.
