Residents demand action as garbage piles up on roads near Jain Temple, Goshamahal
Hyderabad: Residents of Feelkhana, Goshamahal have expressed concerns over the growing garbage dump along the main roads near Jain Temple. The issue was highlighted on social media by Lokendra Singh (@HYDTrafficMan), who shared images of the situation and tagged the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) for action.
In his post, Lokendra Singh criticized GHMC’s Swachh Survekshan rankings, stating, “@GHMCOnline, Your Swacch Sarvekshan rankings do not serve the purpose except to showcase the certificate. These are situations at various parts of the city where you turn public roads into health hazards. I really want you to hold the salary of the sanitation officer of this circle. Please clean this mess first. Near Jain Temple, Feelkhana, Goshamahal.”
Responding promptly, GHMC acknowledged the concern. Their official handle (@GHMCOnline) assured residents that the issue had been escalated to the Sanitation Team, stating, “The issue has been escalated to the Sanitation Team for clearance of the garbage. @amoh14_goshamah @DcGoshamahal.”
