Telangana Forest Dept to Host Manchirevula Nature Camp

Hyderabad: The Telangana Forest Development Corporation (TGFDC) will organize a Nature Camp at Forest Trek Park, Manchirevula, Hyderabad on August 23. The camp begins at 5:00 PM on Saturday and continues until 10:00 AM on August 24.

The program will include team building, tent pitching, a nocturnal forest walk, night camping, campfire, early morning bird watching, trekking and a nature trail. Evening snacks, dinner and breakfast will be provided to participants. The tariff is free for children below five years, ₹1,199 for children between six and twelve years, and ₹1,999 for participants aged thirteen years and above.

Bird Walk on August 24

On Sunday morning, a bird walk will be conducted from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the same venue. The walk, open to all age groups, will be priced at ₹450 per head. It will be guided by ornithologists and naturalists who will help participants understand bird species, nesting, food habits, flight and behavior.
