Five members of family found dead in Hyderabad's Miyapur area
Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, five members of a single family were found dead under suspicious circumstances at their residence in the Maqtha Mehaboobpet area of Miyapur police station limits, Cyberabad commissionerate on Wednesday. The discovery has sent waves of grief and confusion through the local community.
The deceased have been identified as the Uppari family, originally from Shedeu village in Gulabarga, Karnataka. The deceased were identified as Narsimha Uppari (60), a labourer and the head of the family, his wife Venkatamma (55), their second daughter Kavitha (24) and her husband Anil (32), who was also a labourer, and their daughter Appu (2). They were residing in a rented accommodation in the Mehaboobpet area of Miyapur police station limits.
According to preliminary reports, the incident came to light when a neighbour alerted the local police. Miyapur police personnel rushed to the scene and forced their way into the locked house, only to discover the lifeless bodies of all five family members.
“A suspicious death occurred at their residence. Further details are being verified. The bodies have been shifted to the Gandhi hospital for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death," stated a Miyapur police official in a statement.
