Traffic advisory issued for Fish Prasadam distribution in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory in connection with the annual “Fish Prasadam” distribution organized by the Bathini Mrigasira Trust at the Exhibition Grounds, Nampally. The event, scheduled from the evening of June 7 to the evening of June 9, 2025, is expected to attract large crowds, prompting significant traffic diversions in the surrounding areas.

Routes to Avoid

Traffic will be restricted on the following routes during the event:

1. SA Bazar Mosque to Gandhi Bhavan via MJ Market Junction
2. Putli Bowli to Gandhi Bhavan via MJ Market Junction
3. Yousufian Company to Gandhi Bhavan via MJ Market Junction
4. Alaska Junction to Malakunta Junction

Diversion Points

Heavy vehicle movement will be diverted as follows:

• Vehicles from SA Bazar Mosque and Putli Bowli will not be allowed towards Gandhi Bhavan. Diversion will be at MJ Market Junction towards Nampally Station Road via GPO Junction.
• Vehicles from Ravindra Bharathi will be diverted at AR Petrol Pump towards BJR Circle. Entry to Chappel Road will be restricted.
• Vehicles from GPO, Abids will be diverted at MJ Market Junction towards SA Bazar Mosque.

Instructions for Visitors

The public is advised to follow these guidelines while arriving for the Fish Prasadam distribution:

• Four-Wheelers: Visitors from the Nampally side should park at Gruha Kalpa, Gagan Vihar, or Chandra Vihar and walk to Gate No. 2 of the Exhibition Grounds.
• Buses/Vans: Those arriving from MJ Market must get down at Gandhi Bhavan Bus Stop. Visitors from Nampally should alight at Gruha Kalpa Bus Stop and proceed to Gate No. 2.
• VIP Vehicles: Vehicles with VIP passes coming from MJ Market should enter via Ajanta Gate and turn left towards Gate No. 1 and CWC Gate. From Nampally, VIP vehicles must take a U-turn at Gandhi Bhavan, then proceed to Gate No. 1 and CWC Gate. Designated parking is available for VIPs.
• Two-Wheelers: Riders from MJ Market should park at Manoranjan Complex. Those from Nampally can park on the left side of the road between Gruha Kalpa and the BJP Office.
• Auto-Rickshaws: Designated drop-off points are near Shezan Hotel, Bhavani Wines/Juvenile Court, and the Excise Office. Parking for autos is permitted on the left side of the road.

Additionally, general traffic from MJ Bridge and Begum Bazar Chatri heading towards Nampally will be diverted at Alaska towards Darusalam and Ek Minar routes.
