Fires break out at tiffin centre in Nizampet & car showroom in Kondapur
Hyderabad: A fire broke out at a tiffin centre in the Nizampet area of Bachupally on Friday morning, January 24, 2025. The incident occurred while several workers were present at the eatery.
No injuries were reported and authorities suspect that an LPG leak may have triggered the blaze.
Upon noticing the fire and smoke, they immediately alerted the police and fire department. Firefighters responded quickly and brought the fire under control. The LPG cylinders were moved to a safer location.
The fire caused a traffic jam in the area, and Bachupally police are investigating the cause of the fire.

Massive Fire at Mahindra Showroom in Kondapur
A fire broke out at the VVC Motors (Mahindra Motors) showroom in Kondapur, Ranga Reddy district, on January 23, 2025. The fire severely damaged several vehicles on the second floor of the showroom.
Within minutes, the blaze engulfed the entire showroom, with large flames visible from a distance. Firefighters arrived on the scene and brought the fire under control. Seven cars were completely destroyed, but no casualties were reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Authorities confirmed that four fire vehicles responded to the scene to contain the blaze.
Recent Fire Incidents in Hyderabad
In recent weeks, Hyderabad has witnessed a number of fire incidents. On Friday, January 17, 2025, a major fire broke out at a fertility centre adjacent to DMart in Shaikpet, Hyderabad. The blaze quickly spread to a study centre and a Reliance Trends store located in the same building. No casualties have been reported.
Earlier, on Thursday, January 16, 2025, a fire broke out at the Kanchukota Tiffin Centre in Kukatpally. The blaze destroyed two motorcycles and hotel furniture.
Local residents, who spotted the flames near Arjun Theatre in the KPHB police station limits, rushed to the scene and managed to bring the fire under control before the fire department arrived. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Earlier, on January 1, 2025, a lorry carrying hardware materials caught fire in the Jeedimetla Industrial Area after coming into contact with a high-tension wire. The fire quickly spread to a nearby HMWSSB water tanker. Firefighters from the Jeedimetla Fire Station responded swiftly, and both vehicle drivers managed to escape the flames unharmed.
