The Tappachabutra police have launched an investigation, but the cause of the fire remains unknown.

This incident adds to a recent series of fire-related events in the city, raising concerns over public safety. Just days earlier, a fire broke out at MN Polymers, a manufacturing unit in Prashanth Nagar, Kukatpally, on February 23-24. The blaze, triggered by a short circuit, destroyed raw materials and finished products. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the fire was controlled after three hours of efforts by two fire engines.

On February 22, 2025, a fire occurred at the Manikanta Timber Depot warehouse in Karmanghat, Saroornagar, near the Anjaneya Swamy Temple, causing significant damage. Similarly, a tipper truck caught fire in Kachavani Singaram, Medchal district, on the same day, though no casualties were reported in either incident.

Earlier, on February 18, two TSRTC buses caught fire at the Kushaiguda bus depot, but no one was injured. Additionally, a fire in a building near Kishan Bagh X Roads in the Old City on February 2 resulted in thick smoke but no casualties.
