Fire breaks out at Golden Orion Apartments in Manikonda

Manikonda: A major fire broke out in a flat at Golden Orion Apartments in Pupplaguda, Manikonda, on Friday night, reportedly caused by an electric short circuit.

According to reports, the fire quickly spread after an LPG cylinder caught fire in the flat.

However, no casualties were reported, as the family members were able to escape the premises in time. Property damage is estimated to be around Rs 50 lakh.

Fire safety personnel from the nearby locality rushed to the spot to control the flames. However, their initial efforts were hindered due to a lack of access to the apartment complex. Eventually, three fire brigades arrived and successfully brought the fire under control.
