The staff inspected the fire alarm box and declared that it was a false alarm. The movie-goers heaved a sigh of relief when they were told about it and they returned to the cinema hall and the screening resumed.

Of late, the city has been witnessing fire incidents in recent weeks. Recently, a fire broke out at a tiffin centre in the Nizampet area of Bachupally.

The incident occurred while several workers were present at the eatery. No injuries were reported and authorities suspect that an LPG leak may have triggered the blaze.

Upon noticing the fire and smoke, they immediately alerted the police and fire department. Firefighters responded quickly and brought the fire under control. The LPG cylinders were moved to a safer location. The fire caused a traffic jam in the area, and Bachupally police are investigating the cause of the fire.

On January 23, 2025, a fire broke out at the VVC Motors (Mahindra Motors) showroom in Kondapur, Ranga Reddy district.

Within minutes, the blaze engulfed the entire showroom, with large flames visible from a distance. Firefighters arrived on the scene and brought the fire under control. Seven cars were completely destroyed, but no casualties were reported.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Authorities confirmed that four fire vehicles responded to the scene to contain the blaze.
