According to police, the accused had been procuring duplicate Apple-branded accessories from marketing agents in Mumbai. These items were then repackaged using boxes and stickers bearing Apple logos, creating the appearance of original Apple products. The fake accessories were sold to unsuspecting customers as genuine, allowing the shop owners to make illegal profits.

During the raids, police seized fake mobile accessories worth approximately ₹1.01 crore. The haul included a range of counterfeit items such as EarPods, power banks, USB cables, mobile batteries, silicon back covers, and adapter sets, all bearing the Apple logo. A total of 1,430 silicon back covers, 156 EarPods, and hundreds of other accessories were recovered from the premises.

The operation was carried out based on credible intelligence, with simultaneous raids conducted at the shops in Jagadish Market. The arrested individuals, along with the seized materials, were handed over to the Station House Officer of Abids Police Station for further legal action. The raids were led by the Inspector of Police, Central Zone Task Force, along with the Sub-Inspector and staff of both the Task Force and Abids Police Station.
