Excise officials busts rave party in Kondapur, arrests nine
Hyderabad: The State Task Force (STF) from the Excise Department raided a service apartment in Kondapur. They uncovered a rave party with drugs, alcohol, and illegal activities. Eleven people were booked, and nine were arrested, with six cars and narcotics seized in the operation.
The arrested were identified as King Ken Rahul (alleged drug supplier), Praveen Kumar alias Manne Appikotla Ashok Kumar (party organizer), Sai Krishna(event coordinator),Hit Joseph, Thota Kumaraswamy, Adapa Yashwant, Sri Dutt, and Nanda Samatha Teja.
According to excise officials, gangs from Andhra Pradesh have been using service apartments in Hyderabad, particularly in Kondapur, to host late-night parties involving drugs and alcohol. The latest raid took place at SV Nilayam service apartment, where the STF B Team, led by SI Balaraju, caught attendees indulging in illegal activities.
The accused, including Naidu alias Vasu and Shivam Rayudu from Vijayawada, allegedly used fake Aadhaar cards and multiple bank accounts to fund the parties. The excise officials seized 2.080 kg of ganja, 50 oz of kush ganja, 11.57 grams of magic mushrooms, and 1.91 grams of hashish.
Further, four cars and 11 mobile phones were confiscated. A case has been registered against three absconding suspects. The accused were handed over to the Sherlingampalli Excise Station for further investigation.
