Deadline for Telangana e-Pass scholarship registrations extended to June 30

Hyderabad: The Government of Telangana has extended the last date for registration of colleges and students on the Telangana e-Pass portal for Post-Matric Scholarships (PMS) for the academic year 2024–25. The new deadline is June 30, 2025, replacing the earlier cut-off date of May 31, 2025.

The PMS scheme supports students from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC), Economically Backward Classes (EBC), Minority communities, and the Physically Challenged. Scholarships are sanctioned through the Telangana e-Pass (Electronic Payment and Application System of Scholarships) portal: http://telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in, designed to ensure transparency in disbursement.

Registration for the current academic year began on September 1, 2024. As of now, 10,75,041 applications have been submitted out of the targeted 11,88,120. Around 1,13,079 eligible students are yet to register.

Regulatory authorities and college managements have been directed to ensure completion of registrations by the new deadline. All welfare departments are urged to widely publicize the process to ensure no eligible student is left out. This announcement was issued by N. Sridhar, Principal Secretary to the Government.
