Drunk driver rams into pedestrians near Niloufer Cafe in Red Hills, 3 injured

Nampally: At least three people were seriously injured when a drunk driver rammed his car into a group of pedestrians near Niloufer Cafe in Red Hills, Nampally at around midnight on Wednesday.

According to police reports, the driver, who was reportedly intoxicated, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the pedestrians. The injured victims were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred near the popular Niloufer Cafe, a well-known spot in the area. Following the crash, local residents quickly caught the driver. In an act of fury, the crowd beat up the driver before handing him over to the police. The traffic police later towed the car away.

A case has been registered, and an investigation is currently underway.
