Applications invited for drug de-addiction centres in 14 Telangana districts
Hyderabad: The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment (Division of Narcotics Control), Government of India, has called for online applications from eligible Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Telangana to establish Drug De-Addiction Centres in 14 districts. The initiative is part of the National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR).
Only one centre will be sanctioned in each district. The districts identified under the scheme are Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Jogulamba Gadwal, Kamareddy, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Rajanna Sircilla, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Narayanpet, Sangareddy, Suryapet, Wanaparthy, and Hanumakonda.
Interested and eligible NGOs must submit their applications online through the e-Anudaan portal at https://grants-msje.gov.in/ngo-login. The last date for submission is June 30, 2025.
Shailaja, Director of the Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Senior Citizens, and Transgender Persons, urged qualified organizations to make use of the opportunity to contribute to drug abuse prevention efforts in the state.
