Drinking water supply disruption in parts of Hyderabad today
Hyderabad: Residents in several parts of Hyderabad will experience a water supply disruption on Sunday. The Water Board is carrying out repairs on the damaged 33-inch pipeline supplying water from Asif Nagar filter beds to the Red Hills Reservoir, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) said in a press release.
According to the press release, drinking water supply will be disrupted in the following areas — Red Hills, Bazaar Ghat, Mallepally, Seetarambagh, Nampally Railway Station, Niloufer Hospital, MNJ Cancer Hospital, Yousufain Darga area, Ek Minar, part of Gunfoundry, Adarsh Nagar, BJR Nagar, Khairatabad, Mint Compound, Old CIB QTRS AC Guards apart from parts of Income Tax Quarters and Vijay Nagar Colony.
The Water Board has requested the consumers to use water sparingly while they work on fixing the damaged pipeline.
