Hyderabad: The Balanagar Police have arrested four individuals in connection with the murder of a man whose body was found near Khaitan Company Road in the Cooperative Industrial Estate, Balanagar, on January 30, 2025. The arrested suspects are Akula Krishna (42), Madaraboina Ravi (39), Gurram Naresh (39), and Gambu Shanker (44).

On the morning of January 30, 2025, at around 08:15 hours, Balanagar Police Constable Srishailam received a report about an unknown male body lying near Khaitan Company Road. The body was discovered beside a garbage pile, and the victim was found to be bleeding from his left ear. Officers confirmed that the man was already dead.

The deceased, who appeared to be aged between 35 and 40 years, was wearing a blue t-shirt, blue shirt, and light blue jeans. The body also showed two tattoos on his arms. The identity of the victim has not been confirmed.

Through investigation, police identified the accused. The main suspect, Akula Krishna, is a 42-year-old auto driver from Jeedimetla. The other accused, Madaraboina Ravi (39), Gurram Naresh (39), and Gambu Shanker (44), are all residents of Sanathnagar and also work as auto drivers.

It was revealed that the murder originated from a previous dispute between the deceased and Krishna over the repair of an auto self-motor. Krishna, along with Ravi, Naresh, and Shanker, planned to kill the victim in retaliation. They lured the victim to Durga Bhavani Temple in Edupayala, where they made him consume alcohol before assaulting him.

They physically beat the victim, including punching, kicking, and hitting his head against the metal frame of an auto. After the victim was confirmed dead, the suspects abandoned the body near Khaitan Company Road.

The police recovered the victim's mobile phone and the auto owned by Ravi, which was used in the crime.

The investigation was led by Balanagar DCP K. Suresh Kumar, IPS, along with the Balanagar SOT DCP Srinivas, ADCP Vishwaprasad, ACP G. Hanumantha Rao, Inspector T. Narsimha Raju, and other officers. The case was solved through diligent investigation, including the analysis of over 50 CCTV cameras and the suspects' escape route.
