Hyderabad: Commuters traveling along the Manjeera Pipeline Road near BP Petrol Bunk in Hyderabad are facing difficulties due to debris blocking half of the road. The obstruction is creating serious obstacles, especially for pedestrians, including schoolchildren, who are forced to walk through the debris to reach nearby schools. The issue was highlighted on X (formerly Twitter) by an individual identified as Elementary, my dear Watson (@alwaysherl0cked), who posted, “GHMC and leaders, are you guys trying to kill people on Manjeera Road? This looks like a deliberate attempt to not fix things. This photo is from near BP Petrol Bunk on Manjeera Road, where toddlers from four schools have to walk through this debris to reach their school. Will you do something about it?”

The concerned user further called out relevant authorities, tagging @HYDTP, @GHMCOnline, @CommissionrGHMC, and @gadwalvijayainc. He questioned, “@HYDTP, your board is present near that debris. Is this going to be repaired? @GHMCOnline, @CommissionrGHMC, @gadwalvijayainc, why are you silent? You seriously don’t want to fix the road or seriously want to hurt people who travel on this road?”

In another post, the user urged action, stating, “@GHMCOnline @CommissionrGHMC @gadwalvijayainc @GandhiArekapudi, till when are you going to sleep on this debris? Location: Manjeera Pipeline Road, BP Petrol Bunk.”

The issue has also been pointed out due to the presence of four schools in the vicinity, with students, especially young children, having to navigate the dangerous path. The social media user highlighted, “There are four schools here with toddlers who have to walk through this debris. Have some shame and fix this! Give an update on this. Don't just watch. You guys are supposed to do something.”

While police have set up barricades near the debris to alert commuters, the blockage continues to cause disruption for those traveling along the road.
