The raids uncovered assets worth hundreds of crores, including villas in Shaikpet and Kondapur, flats in Srinagar Colony, Madhapur, and Narsingi, a commercial space in Amaravathi, 28 acres of agricultural land in Markook mandal, and 20 guntas in Patancheru.

It is reported that the searches followed the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) report concerning the Kaleshwaram project.

“A case of disproportionate assets was registered against Hariram. He has assets beyond known sources of income. Property documents pertaining to open plots, commercial spaces, agricultural land, and houses were seized. The accused acquired several movable and immovable properties illegally by abusing his official position,” ACB said in a statement.

Authorities also found a farmhouse with a six-acre mango garden in Bommalaramaram, a building under construction in Kothagudem, and open plots in Quthbullapur and Miryalaguda as part of the assets.

They have seized a BMW car, a huge quantity of gold ornaments, and substantial bank deposits. Subsequently, Hariram was arrested in an alleged case of disproportionate assets on Saturday. He has been remanded to judicial custody and lodged at Chanchalguda jail.

The ACB officials are yet to release details regarding the ongoing searches at Hariram’s residence.
