Chaos on the roads: Multiple waterlogging reports

The advisory was followed by a flurry of alerts throughout the morning, painting a picture of a severely impacted commute. Key areas affected include:

In Miyapur, waterlogging near the HDFC Bank and the MY Home Mangala underpass caused Miyapur Pipeline Road to close. Commuters should use Mayuri Nagar instead. In Gachibowli, water built up near Kritunga Restaurant in Gowlidoddi and at SMR Vinay on the road from HCU Depot to Masjid Banda.

In Madhapur, there was heavy water near Image Hospital, Parwathnagar Village, and Lucky Restaurant. Authorities are using pumps and expect to clear the water within an hour. In Katedan, the Old Kurnool Road Railway Underpass was flooded, and staff are working to clear the drains. In Shaikpet, waterlogging was seen opposite KIMS Hospital and at the start of the Shaikpet Flyover.

Cyberabad Traffic Police personnel are deployed at these locations to manage traffic and clear water.
