Cyberabad police prohibit gatherings during Group-I Mains examinations

Hyderabad: To maintain public order and tranquility, Avinash Mohanty, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, has issued a directive prohibiting gatherings of people in the vicinity of examination centers for the upcoming Group-I service Mains examinations. These examinations are scheduled to take place from October 21 to October 27, 2024, between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The order, issued under Section 163 of the BNSS, prohibits groups of five or more individuals within a 200-meter radius of all examination centers during the exam period. Additionally, all photocopy (Xerox) and internet centers within a 100-meter radius will be required to close.

The following are exempt from the operation of this order:

• Police officers on duty
• Military personnel on duty
• Home guards on duty
• Members of the Flying Squad from the Education Department
• Funeral processions

The order will be in effect daily from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. throughout the examination period. The public is advised that any violations of these directives may lead to prosecution under Section 163 of the BNSS. Citizens are encouraged to cooperate with law enforcement to ensure a smooth and peaceful examination process.
