Cyberabad police bust Rave party, arrest six in drug crackdown
Hyderabad: Cyberabad police, in a joint operation with Eagle Telangana, arrested six individuals, including two alleged peddlers and four consumers, during a raid on a rave party at a service apartment in Kondapur. The police seized 20 grams of cocaine, 8 ecstasy pills, and 3 grams of MDMA.
The accused include Teja (28) and Vikram, both from East Godavari, identified as peddlers. Consumers arrested were Manne Neelima (41), a housewife, Purshotham Reddy (36), a wine shop owner, and Bhargav (31), a software engineer. Chandhan (20), an engineering student from Bangalore, was held for allegedly transporting the drugs. A manhunt has been launched for the main supplier, Rahul aka Sonu, from Bangalore.Drug tests showed Neelima positive for three types of drugs, Teja for five, and others for one type. Chandhan tested negative.
Investigation revealed Teja sourced cocaine from Rahul and organized consumption meetings. The group, originally from Rajahmundry, shifted to Hyderabad and regularly used service apartments for drug parties. Teja arranged payments and received parcels containing drugs concealed in skincare product boxes.
The accused Vikram is having a friendship with Surya of Malnadu restaurant and Rahul of Kanvera Farm House. Last year (2024), Vikram & Chisty were arrested by Dichpally Police at Idalwai Toll Plaza on their return from New Delhi to Hyderabad in a car after collecting 12 grams of cocaine from one Nigerian Mike (who is known to Rahul) and sent them to jail. In this case, Rahul was shown as absconding but later produced on a PT warrant after he was arrested in the Malnadu Restaurant Case of Cyberabad Narcotic PS.
Teja also has the habit of taking IV injections for enhancing skin glow. He came to know that all the celebrities use Glutathione vitamin for enhancing their skin glow. When Teja browsed the Internet for Glutathione, he found that one brand, GLUTAX 5GS, is the best brand, checked for its price and it was costing Rs. 40,000/- in Hyderabad while the same product was costing Rs. 11,000 in Bangalore. So, Teja ordered it through Rahul so that he could get it for Rs.11,000. So, whenever he used to order GLUTAX, Rahul used to send cocaine concealed in those boxes. Two or three times Teja received the cocaine parcel through DTDC Courier and he went to the AVA Road branch, Rajahmundry and collected these parcels.
