Hyderabad: The Women and Child Safety Wing of Cyberabad, which includes SHE Teams, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU), Bharosa, and the Women’s Police Station, carried out a series of enforcement and awareness activities during the week of July 12 to 19, 2025.

 SHE Teams Book 48 Cases for Indecent Behaviour

SHE Teams conducted 120 decoy operations across Cyberabad and caught 49 individuals red-handed for indulging in indecent acts in public places. As a result, 48 petty cases were registered, and counselling sessions were held for all those apprehended.

The unit also received 30 complaints from women through various channels, including WhatsApp, social media, and direct helplines. In an effort to prevent such offences, 64 awareness programs were conducted at schools, colleges, and public spaces. Additionally, five counselling sessions were organised at the Women and Child Safety Wing office.

 283 Children Rescued Under Operation Muskan-XI

The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) conducted awareness programs on issues such as human and child trafficking, child marriage, child labour, stalking, cyberbullying, and online fraud. The sessions also educated participants about emergency helpline numbers including 181 (women), 1098 (children), 100 (police), and 1930 (cybercrime). Around 130 people attended the sessions held at various locations within Cyberabad.

As part of Operation Muskan-XI, 283 children were rescued. Of these, 273 were reunited with their families, while 13 children were placed in shelter homes. A total of 55 cases were registered in connection with the operation.

 Bharosa Counsels 31 Families

Bharosa, a support centre for women and children, handled 31 cases involving domestic disputes between spouses. Counselling was provided to help resolve issues, with efforts made to reconcile families where possible.
