Cold wave hits Hyderabad: Temperatures to stay low for 8 days
Hyderabad: A cold wave has gripped Hyderabad and the surrounding areas, with temperatures dipping significantly across the region. This cold spell is expected to continue for the next eight days, bringing chilly conditions throughout the week. Rajendra Nagar recorded a temperature of 12.4°C, while BHEL reported 12.8°C. The outskirts, including Ibrahimpatnam, saw temperatures as low as 11.4°C.
In the northern and southern parts of Hyderabad, temperatures ranged between 13°C and 15°C, while the core city areas remained relatively warmer, with readings between 17°C and 19°C.
According to the latest update from Telangana Weatherman, Balaji (@balaji25_t), the cold weather intensified further overnight. Kohir in Sangareddy district recorded the first single-digit temperature of the season at 9.5°C. Other areas, including Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Kamareddy, Adilabad, Asifabad, Sircilla, Siddipet, and Medak, recorded temperatures ranging from 10°C to 12°C.
As the winter chill takes hold, residents are advised to take necessary precautions to stay warm during this prolonged cold spell.
Cold weather further intensifies in Hyderabad too with Rajendranagar recorded 12.4°C and BHEL recorded 12.8°C. Outskirts like Ibrahimpatnam Mangalapalle recorded 11.4°C. North, South HYD recorded 13-15°C. Core city recorded 17-19°C. Same weather ahead for next 8days 🥶
