Charu Sinha IPS takes charge as Telangana ACB chief
HYDERABAD: Charu Sinha, a 1996-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, on Monday assumed charge as Director General of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Telangana State.
Sinha has earlier served in the Bureau as Joint Director, Director and in-charge Director General. During her tenure, officials said, she played a key role in strengthening its operations and improving internal systems.
Pledges to strengthen anti-graft measures and ensure accountability
After taking charge, Sinha reaffirmed her commitment to intensify the Bureau’s efforts against corruption. She said the agency would focus on ensuring transparency in governance and safeguarding public interest. “The Bureau will continue its proactive role in creating accountability and building confidence among citizens,” she said.
