The issue was first highlighted by local resident Donthi Karthik Goud on social media, where he tagged the official handles of TGSPDCL and GHMC. In response, TGSPDCL acknowledged the complaint and requested further details, saying, “Dear Consumer, Your grievance has been noted. Please share your USC number and contact details via DM so we can assist you.” Karthik Goud quickly provided the requested information and urged prompt action. TGSPDCL replied, “Your details are noted. We have informed the concerned officer.”

However, Karthik Goud expressed frustration at the lack of immediate response. According to him, the emergency field team contacted him, explaining that the Assistant Engineer (A.E.) was unavailable and suggested the issue be followed up the next day. Karthik Goud raised concerns over the delay, stating, “The situation is very critical. If a solution isn’t provided soon, who will be held responsible if something happens to the local people?”

Along with his posts, Karthik Goud shared a video showing the sparking electrical lines, which he said were causing increasing concern among residents in the area. Local residents are calling for immediate intervention from the authorities to resolve the issue and ensure their safety.
