Hayathnagar: A case has been registered on October 16, 2024, against two YouTubers for allegedly spreading false propaganda against Hayathnagar Sangam Bakery. The complaint was filed by the bakery's manager following an incident that occurred on October 15, when four unidentified individuals visited the establishment.

According to the police FIR, the manager, who has been with Sangam Bakery in Pedda Amberpet for two years, was away on personal business in L.B. Nagar at the time. Upon his return, bakery staff informed him that the individuals had ordered tea and verbally abused a worker, accusing him of unsanitary practices, including suggesting that "dog saliva" had been used in the tea.

The assailants reportedly entered the bakery’s kitchen, threatened employees, and demanded that milk and tea be poured down the sink. They then filmed a video of the premises before leaving. Shortly after that, the manager received disturbing voice messages via WhatsApp featuring derogatory comments about the bakery, including claims that the staff had mixed dog saliva into the tea. The video was subsequently circulated across various social media platforms, damaging the bakery’s reputation.

The complainant later identified the two individuals in the video as YouTubers, noting that they had previously visited the bakery and requested free cakes, claiming to be reporters. The manager stated that the false claims started from the bakery's refusal to comply with their demands.

The case has been filed under various sections, including 329(4), 115(2), 351(2), 324(4) r/w 3(5) BNS of the BNS. The complainant has requested that authorities take appropriate action against the accused.
