Case filed after unknown man steals doctor’s shoes at Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A case has been registered at the Punjagutta Police Station following an incident at Yashoda Hospital in Somajiguda, Hyderabad, where an unknown person allegedly stole a doctor’s shoes on February 26, 2025.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), 52-year-old K Krishna, a staff member at the hospital, reported the theft. He stated that on February 26 at around 12:10 p.m., an unidentified individual entered the hospital through the B-1 Cellar area, took the doctor’s elevator to the fifth floor, and left while wearing the doctor’s shoes, valued at Rs. 4,000.
Upon discovering the missing shoes in the doctor’s dressing room, hospital staff reviewed security footage, which showed the unknown person wearing the shoes and leaving the premises, heading towards Raj Bhavan Road.
The police registered the case under Section 331(3) and Section 305(a) BNS, and G. Naresh Kumar, Sub-Inspector, has initiated the investigation.
