BRS wins majority in Mother Dairy director elections
HYDERABAD: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) secured a major victory in the Mother Dairy director elections held in Hyderabad on Friday, winning two of the three seats.
At Telangana Bhavan, BRS working president K T Rama Rao congratulated party leader Racha Laxmi Narasimha Reddy, who was elected as one of the directors. Former minister and Suryapet MLA Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy, former Tungaturthi MLA Dr Gadari Kishore Kumar, leaders Neuri Dharmender Reddy and Vallamala Krishna, and BRSV state vice-presidents Padala Satish and Avinash attended the event.
Congress suffers setback in joint Nalgonda, Ranga Reddy districts
In the joint Nalgonda and Ranga Reddy districts, the elections dealt a setback to the Congress as all three BRS-backed candidates registered decisive victories.
Tungaturthi MLA Mandula Sameel-backed candidate Kunchala Praveen Reddy lost by nine votes. BRS candidates Racha Laxmi Narasimha Reddy and Sandila Bhaskar secured 154 and 240 votes respectively, consolidating the party’s position in the cooperative.
BRS takes two of three seats in Hayathnagar elections
In the elections conducted at Hayathnagar on Friday, BRS candidates won two out of three seats, further boosting the party’s dominance in the Mother Dairy cooperative body.
