Bachupally-Mallampet Road in disrepair, commuters demand urgent action
Hyderabad: The deteriorated state of the Bachupally-Mallampet road is giving nightmares to commuters, riddled with potholes and bumpy roads that lead to many accidents and damage to vehicles.
Social activist Maharshi Teja Jalla raised concerns on social media, stating, “Extremely poor condition of the Bachupally-Mallampet road is causing frequent accidents. How many lives must be at risk before action is taken?”
Jalla pointed out the risky area near Mallampet ORR Exit-4A at Ratnadeep. He said it is full of potholes and very dangerous, especially for bikers. “Urgent attention is needed from the authorities,” he added.
Echoing these concerns, commuter Sai Prasad Joshi lamented the physical and financial toll of the road’s condition on Twitter. “The pothole-filled road is damaging vehicles and our backs very badly. Please expedite the road work. How long do we have to suffer for your negligence?” he questioned.
Residents and daily travellers have repeatedly asked civic authorities for repairs. However, their pleas were not heeded. With accidents on the rise, locals demand immediate intervention to prevent further risks to lives and property. Commuters are frustrated due to the long neglect. They are urging officials to fix the roads before more damage occurs.
