Telangana govt posts B Shivadhar Reddy as DGP

Telangana: The Telangana government on September 26, 2025, transferred senior IPS officer B Shivadhar Reddy and posted him as Director General of Police (Coordination), Hyderabad.

According to G.O.Rt.No.1339 issued by the General Administration (Special B) Department, Shivadhar Reddy, a 1994 batch officer of the Indian Police Service, was earlier serving as Director General of Police (Intelligence).

To hold additional charge of HoPF

He will replace Jitender, Director General of Police (Coordination), who retired on attaining the age of superannuation.

The order further stated that Shivadhar Reddy will also hold full additional charge as Director General of Police (Head of Police Force), Telangana, Hyderabad, until further orders.

The notification was issued by Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao in the name of the Governor of Telangana.
