Attapur Ganesh Laddu Auction Sets Record

Hyderabad: The “New Stars Bhakta Samaj” Ganesh laddu prasadam at the ancient Pochamma temple in Attapur fetched a record price this year. In a fierce auction, the laddu was bought by Gummadi Brothers Bhupal Reddy for ₹12,51,000, surpassing the previous record by an additional ₹1,35,000.

The laddu, which was offered prayers for ten days during the Navratri celebrations, drew strong competition among bidders. About 50 participants took part in the auction, making it one of the most spirited events of the festivities.

Committee Celebrations Mark Auction

The “New Stars Bhakta Samaj” committee, which organized the celebrations at the Pochamma temple, witnessed the grand conclusion as the laddu prasadam was secured by Gummadi Brothers. The auction was held on the occasion of the Ganesh idol immersion, adding to the festive atmosphere in Attapur.
